Monday morning Mrs. Mary Robins, of the most highly esteemed ladies of the place passed away. Following her death occurred the same day the death of Captain W.J. Raines, who for many years was clerk of the superior court of Talbot County and at the time of his death Notary Public of Talbotton Militia District. The county also lost another valued citizen in the death of Mrs. L.B. McCrary who passed over the river on Thursday. Her death occurring at her home at Woodland. **Note - Mary Maxwell Robins is buried at Talbotton, Ga. City Cemetery formerly known as Oak Hill Cemetery.
