Another Old Citizen Dead

Mr. Z.T. Stephenson died at his home southeast of Talbotton on last Tuesday 
morning after a lingering illness.

Mr. Stephenson was in his 74th year and the greater part of his life has been a 
citizen of this county.  He was born in Putnam County.  He is survived by his 
wife and several children - Mrs. Ely of Montgomery and Misses Mattie and Emmie 
Stephenson and Messrs. John and Hill Stephenson of this county.

"Uncle Zack" as he was affectionately called was loved and respected by 
everyone.  He had a happy disposition and always met his friends with a cheery 
word.
