Wood was dead. She is survived by her husband and eight children, and leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. She has left a noble example. She was sick only a few days but she did not dread death. Our hearts are sad, yet we must say with that old apostle of God, “How precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Those who attended her funeral from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Dozier and daughter, of Bronwood, and Mrs. Wood of Americus; Charlie Wood, of Dawson; Ray Wood of Americus; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Parks, of near Howard. Additional Comments: **Note from the submitter – The Junction City Cemetery listing on the Talbot page list the following names. Elizabeth L. Woods passed away in 1916 just like Mrs. C.S. Woods. I’m not a researcher of this family so I’m not certain this is her, but most likely it is. If anyone is researching this family and has the correct information, please contact me so this can be updated.
