She was the only daughter of Mrs. Sallie Lumpkin, who resided for many years at Baldwinville just across the northern border of Taylor County. She sweetly fell asleep on Jesus at an early hour Friday morning, obsequiries and interment taking place from Mt. Zion Church and cemetery Saturday morning. The service, the beauty and appropriateness of which has never been surpassed in our hearing, was conducted by Rev. Graham Forrester of Talbotton. The church was crowded with grief stricken relatives and friends. We could not were we able to attempt to portray the sincerity of this young woman’s Christian character. In our lifetime knowledge of her we have ever found with her the contact presence of God. Her consecrated Christian life has so often been referred to by friends far and near. As such a character she lived and died a triumphant and happy death. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
