Mr. J.L. Johnson Dead

Mr. J.L. Johnson, of Howard, Ga., age 60, died Wednesday morning at 11:15; he 
had been in ill health for many months.  He moved to this place one week ago.  
He had been a resident of Talbot County practically all his life and one of 
this county’s highly respected citizens.  The remains will be interred in Oak 
Hill cemetery this morning services being conducted by Rev. J.W. Arnold.  A 
wife, Mrs. Kate Johnson, of this place, and one brother, Mr. Ephram Johnson, of 
Columbus, and one sister, Mrs. Leitner, of Buena Vista, Ga., survive. –
