Items from Talbot
Condensed from the New Era

Mrs. W.J. Lumpkin died at her home in Talbot County the night of the 31st of 
October. Mrs. Lumpkin was a daughter of Mr. James Hawkins, and married Mr. 
Lumpkin a little more than two years ago.  She was a good woman and apparently 
in excellent health a short time prior to her death, which was a great surprise 
to her friends.  Her remains were interred in the family burying ground, Rev. 
W.E. Mumford conducting the services.
