From The New Era

Mary Lou Brooks eldest living daughter of Capt. Robert Brooks died at the home 
of her father in this county Sunday morning the 8th inst. at 4 o’clock and was 
buried at the family burial ground Monday morning at eleven o’clock.  She had 
been in declining health for several years and was about 25 years old at the 
time of her death.
