Mr. Dick Maund, of Geneva, who has been with Messrs. Wright & Scandrett for 
several years past, we are sorry to say, was bitten by a large rattlesnake last 
Friday at the tie camp in southern Georgia, and died before relief could be 
given him.  His remains were taken to his home on Saturday.  He was a clever, 
kindhearted gentleman and leaves two little children besides many friends to 
mourn his loss.
