The Passing Of Little Emily Persons

Just two brief years ago, the gentle life of little Emily Persons began in
unison with that of a frail young brother, but soon the tiny boy was gathered in
tenderness and love to the grand Central heart of all.

The flower-like girlie received a double portion of love and care twining her
sweet little life into the hearts of the entire town.  She was watched and
tended with more than passing interest by all who knew her, and when strength
began to come, and her bright winsome ways developed day by day she was regarded
as the pet and pride of everybody.  When she appeared so daintily sweet and
responsive in the arms of her faithful nurse all had a welcome and gentle caress.

Hearts grew sad and prayers were made, when the overwhelming news came that
little Emily Persons is very, very ill.  To the last, hopes were entertained
that the kind and pitying Heavenly father would spare her to bless and brighten
for many years more the hearts and homes of her loves ones.  God knew best, and
sent his Angel to bring her to the beautiful home, where no sickness and sorrow
ever comes.

The dainty little form sleeps under a mound of Love’s own blossoms, and the
gentle spirit hovers above its loved ones, an Angel of light and hope.

To Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Persons and the loving grandparents and kindred, sympathy
goes out in fullest measure.
