Died


Mrs. John Pearson, aged seventy-nine years died at the residence of her grandson, Mr. Charles Greer, near Centerville, on Saturday night.  She leaves only one child, Mr. Thomas Greer.  She had a son killed at the battle of Kennesaw Mountain.  Her husband preceded her to the grave some years ago.  She was a member of the Methodist church.  Her remains were interred in the family burying ground near her late home.
