Funeral was today at Geneva Baptist Church, with burial in Geneva Cemetery, according to Talbotton Funeral Home. Mrs. Phillips was born Nov 22,1913, in Marion County, daughter of John and Pearl Bruce Cumbie. She was a member of the Geneva Baptist Church and a former resident of Talbotton. Survivors include seven sons, Clarence and Pete Phillips, both of Columbus, Robert and Johnny Phillips, both of Phenix City, Eugene Phillips, Talbotton, Jessie Phillips, Herendo, Miss., and Ernest Phillips, Macon; four daughters, Mrs. Julian Mae William, Columbus, Mrs. Betty Welch, Mauk, Mrs. Nell Singleton, Byron, and Mrs. Lorine Cannon, Juniper; a sister, Miss Delphia Cumbie, Hamilton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. ======================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be freely used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
