Mrs. Robins had been an invalid since the first of the year, and while her death was not wholly unexpected it was none the less sad. Before marriage Mrs. Robins was a Miss Maxwell. The Maxwell’s orginally came from Virginia to Elbert County and settled. In that county this family is the most highly respected of any family in the state. One member of the family moved from Elbert to Talbot county and it was from this Maxwell that Mrs. Robins was descended. She is survived by her children: Mrs. Charley Johnson, Misses Johnny, Marilu, Jessie, Ella, Sara and Pearl Robins, and one grandchild, Miss Marie Johnson. The funeral was conducted from the home on College street Monday afternoon at 4 o’clock by Rev. J.W. Arnold. The interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
