He left home in the morning apparently in good health, to superintendent the work on his farm and was found dead by his daughter, he being about 200 yards from his residence. He leaves a wife and 7 grown children. His remains were interred Tuesday in the churchyard at Ephesus Church near Belleview. Mr. Russell was a strict member of the Primitive Baptist Church and a citizen who was highly respected. He was a man of a kind and cheerful disposition and will be missed in the community.
