Geneva, Ga., Aug. 4 – Many hearts in our community go out in sympathy for the 
bereaved family of Dr. Brooks, in the death of Mrs. Brooks mother, Mrs. Wells 
nee Moffett, which occurred at 6 o’clock p.m. on last Tuesday.  Her remains 
were interred at Crawford, Ala. where rests her husband’s body.  The remains 
were accompanied by the family and a few friends from here.

Geneva, Ga., Aug. 4 – Mrs. Henry Epping, of Columbus, niece of Dr. Wells, 
deceased, visited the family of Dr. Brooks last week and witnessed the death of 
her aunt.
