Watkins (Hand written note “died May 1-71”) TALBOTTON, Ga.- Dr. Charles L. Watkins, 77, of Talbotton, died Saturday at the Medical Center. Graveside services will be today at 3:30 p.m. from Zebulon City Cemetery, Zebulon, Ga. Dr. Watkins was born July 6, 1893, in Talbot County, and had lived there most of his life. He was a 1916 graduate of the Atlanta Dental College, now known as Emory University. He practiced dentistry in Zebulon, Ga. for eight years and moved to Talbotton and practiced till Dec 1969 when he retired. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clyde Reeves Watkins, Talbotton; one daughter, Mrs. W.H. Mayo, Cairo, Ga.; one son, Charles L.
