Born: ? 74 years -November 9, 1868 

A member of the M. E. Church 60 years" 
(wife of Josiah Mathews)

(father was Joseph Brown, Sr. of Old 96th District, 
Abbeville Dist. SC 
Joseph Sr. died before October 9, 1802 leaving a will.  Sarah McElwee Brown, 
widow, remarried and lived in Baldwin Co. GA dying in 1836.)
