Tombstone of Rev. Leonard Rush at Sardis Methodist Church Cemetery, Chestnut 
Grove Road, Talbot County, Georgia. 
Reads: Leonard Rush, 1803-1897, For 70 years a Preacher of Righteousness.
Confederate flag was placed for Confederate Memorial Day, April 26, 2004, by
Adjutant Terry J. Rumph, Sons of Confederate Veterans, in memory of Rev. Rush's 
service as Chaplain of the 3rd Regiment Georgia Cavalry C.S.A.
