The bride was attired in a beautiful tan messalin suit with hat to match. The attendants were Miss Martha Butler and Mr. John J. Lumpkin. The ceremony was happily performed by Rev Schoville of Waverly Hall. After receiving the congratulations and best wishes of their friends, they repaired to the home of the groom’s mother where an elegant menu was tendered them. Mrs. Lumpkin is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Childre and one of Talbot County’s most refined young ladies. The New Era wishes for this happy young couple a long and prosperous life.
