Culpepper in the presence of a large number of friends. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Graham Forrester of Talbotton Baptist church. Miss Jewel Spear played the bridal music. The hour was 3:30 o’clock. Miss Julia Culpepper was her sister’s maid of honor and Mr. Walter L. Wilson was the bridegroom’s best man, there were no other attendants. The bride’s dress was of blue chiffon panama with trimmings of fringe and dew drop net over white satin. She carried a bouquet of white japonicas and ferns. Miss Julia Culpepper wore white lingerie cloth over pink and carried japonicas and ferns. The decorations were in green. In the parlor where the ceremony took place an altar was formed of ferns and smilax. The ceremony was followed by a reception at the home of the groom’s mother, Mrs. W.R. Wilson. A delicious hot supper was served and the table in the dining room was prettily decorated in pink and green, having for a centerpiece a basket filled with pink begonias and ferns. Mrs. Wilson was assisted in entertaining by her daughter Miss Eleanor, Mrs. J.W. O’Neal and Mrs. Fletcher Griffin. Her guests included Mr. and Mrs. Oceola A. Wilson, Misses Julia Culpepper, Jewel Spear, Nannie Bell Phillips, Mary and Charley O’Neal of Waverly Hall, Johnnie Mae Belyeu of Atlanta, Messrs. Howell O’Neal of Woodland, Whit and George Wilson, Homer Jones, Brooks Culpepper, Walter and W.R. Wilson, E.D. O’Neal, N.N. Daly, J.W. O’Neal, Fred Griffin, Mrs. Sallie Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. L.K.
