Fryer of near Woodland, when their second daughter Annie Gene was married to Mr. Hardy Bryan of Woodland. The parlor was most artistically decorated with smilax and pink ramblers. Pink and green being the color scheme. While Rev. J. Frank Snell in his quiet way pronounced the words that made them man and wife they stood just to the front of a beautiful pink ramble that had been placed in one corner of the parlor and this was laden with open blossoms and buds. Several vases of pink roses added a look of spring time to this new life being taken up. The bride was married in a dainty gown of pale blue silk trimmed with white fringe and white allover lace, and while its daintiness added charm to her girlish face, she was never more beautiful than when wearing her going away dress of dark blue serge together with a dark velvet hat trimmed with old gold. The groom wore a handsome suit of black broadcloth. Only the families of the bride and groom were present. Immediately after the ceremony the happy couple left for the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. Bryan, parents of the groom. File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/talbot/vitals/marriages/fryer2852mr.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.9 Kb
