Arrangements of spring flowers in yellow, lavender and pink interspersed with the silver numerals 25 were used in decorating the beautifully remodeled old family home of the Hesters. Mrs. Burt greeted the guests and Mrs. Grady L. Hesters of Junction City invited them to register. Mr. and Mrs. Hesters stood alone before the large fireplace at the end of the living room. Mrs. Hesters chose a floor length dress of apricot knit and an orchid corsage for the afternoon. Mrs. J.M. Prince of Macon, cut the tiered cake and Mrs. Allen Hesters of Fort Benning poured punch. Mrs. Harvey Buckner of Junction City assisted in serving. The dining room table was laid with a handmade Honduran linen and lace cloth and centered with an epergne of spring flowers in a silver-branched candelabra. A matching arrangement on the buffet was flanked by silver candelabra holding burning tapers.
