McLendon-Blythe


Miss Inez McLendon and Mr. W.A. Blythe of Box Springs, Ga. were
very quietly married at the home of the Misses Mullins on
Second Avenue in Columbus Monday morning at 10:45 o'clock.  The
ceremony was performed by Rev. I. Griffith, pastor of Broad
Church in a very beautiful and impressive manner.  Only a few
intimate friends were present.


The bride is the lovely daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
McLendon of near Box Springs and is a sister of Mr. C.L.
McLendon of this city.


Mr. Blythe is a prosperous young merchant of Box Springs and is
to be congratulated on winning for his bride such a charming
young woman.


The bride wore a beautiful dress of dark blue eolian cloth with
hat and gloves to match.  


The happy couple left on the 12:45 train for their home where
they will spend a few days with the bride's parents and they
will then be home to their friends in their lovely little
cottage at Box Springs.
