Blythe of Box Springs, Ga. were very quietly married at the home of the Misses Mullins on Second Avenue in Columbus Monday morning at 10:45 o'clock. The ceremony was performed by Rev. I. Griffith, pastor of Broad Church in a very beautiful and impressive manner. Only a few intimate friends were present. The bride is the lovely daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles McLendon of near Box Springs and is a sister of Mr. C.L. McLendon of this city. Mr. Blythe is a prosperous young merchant of Box Springs and is to be congratulated on winning for his bride such a charming young woman. The bride wore a beautiful dress of dark blue eolian cloth with hat and gloves to match. The happy couple left on the 12:45 train for their home where they will spend a few days with the bride's parents and they will then be home to their friends in their lovely little cottage at Box Springs. >From the Columbus Ledger Newspaper
