Battle at 4 o’clock Thursday afternoon the 31st of October, Mr. Daniel B. Searcy and Miss Alice King, the Rev. Dr. J.S. Searcy, officiating. Immediately after the marriage the happy couple left for the home of the groom’s father in Talbot County. The bride is a sister of Mrs. J.E. Battle and an accomplished young lady. The groom is a son of Hon. W.H. Searcy and is a steady, industrious young farmer who has been successful in his chosen vocation.
