Leonard and Miss Ella Parker, which occurred at Prattsburg on Wednesday the 15th inst., united two of the most popular young people in Talbot County. The ceremony took place at the Methodist church which had been beautifully and tastily decorated for the occasion at half past three in the afternoon and was witnessed by a large number of the friends of the popular young couple. Rev. W.C. Wade made them man and wife in a ceremony which commended itself to those present both on account of beauty and brevity. At the conclusion of the ceremony the bridal party returned to the home of the bride, having previously met there for lunch and the remainder of the day was spent in a manner quite suggestive of the familiar saying “as merry as a wedding bell.” The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Brinkley Parker, of Prattsburg and since her return from college has been a favorite in the society of the town and county. The groom is an energetic young businessman of Talbotton and his social qualities are such as to have won for him among his friends the same respect which his liberality and strict integrity have won for him in the commercial world.
