Jones – Burt

Miss Evelyn Jones and Mr. Hillis Burt were quietly married near Talbotton on 
last Sunday afternoon.  The marriage came as quite a surprise to their many 
friends in the county, as well as to the parents and relatives of the 
contracting parties.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. J.W. Jones, a well-known citizen of the county 
who resides near Belleview.

Mr. Burt is the son of Mr. Eugene Burt, who lives about four miles west of 
Talbotton.

The young couple are receiving the congratulations of their many friends.  They 
will make their future home at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Burt.
