Jordan, of Waverly Hall, was the officiating clergyman who tied the nuptial knot pronouncing the ceremony, which united the lives of the estimable young couple. The wedding was a quiet one, witnessed only by the immediate relatives of the bride and groom and a few intimate friends. Immediately after the ceremony, luncheon was served, after which the happy couple left for their future home in South Carolina. The bride is a young woman of unusual accomplishments and from one of the old, aristocratic families of Talbot County. Mr. Bennett is a successful lawyer of South Carolina.
