Baldwin – McDowell

Miss Claudia Baldwin and Mr. Tom McDowell were married at Geneva on last 
Wednesday evening at 10 o’clock, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Huff, of 
the Presbyterian church of Geneva.

The wedding came as quite a surprise to the many friends of the parties, as 
their intentions had been kept a close secret.  Mrs. McDowell is the daughter 
of Mr. and Mrs. Walter A. McDowell, of Baldwinville, and one of the most 
attractive young ladies of Talbot County.  Mr. McDowell is one of the best-
known young men of Talbotton, holding a responsible position with the firm of 
Persons Brothers.
