The Talbotton New Era
Tuesday, January 5, 1897

The marriage of Miss Sallie Trussell to Mr. Charley Greer last Monday night at 
Max, was something of a surprise to the friends of the parties.  The wedding
occurred at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Trussell and was 
witnessed by a number of the friends of both parties.  Rev. J.B. McGehee 
performing the ceremony.  The bride is a charming and popular young lady and 
the groom, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Greer is a young man of many 
fine traits of character.  The NEW ERA joins the numerous friends in wishing 
them a long life of happiness.
