William R. Marshall II Giedeon Goodwin John Neal Charles J. Fox The true last will and testament of George Boswell deceased as far as I know or believe and that I will well and timely excute the same by paying first the debts and then the legacy contains in said will as far as his goods and chattels will thereunto extend and the law charge one, and that will make a true and and perfect inventory of all such goods and chattels so help me God. Swortn before me Caroline Boswell Mark Marion Bethun Ordinary Recorded this 7th day of April 1855. There is one error in the Will, which was apparently made by the Ordinary while copying. The surname HOWARD is included as the maiden name of Caroline Boswell (26 Aug 1813-abt.1895). Actually, Caroline's maiden surname was BATES. Caroline married George BOSWELL in Wilkes County, GA at the age of eighteen on 1 Dec 1831. Her parents were Anderson and Hannah EVans BATES.
