Will Book B, Page 546 Written: August 21 1909 Recorded: December 13 1921 Talbot County, Ga. Will Book B Page 546 Georgia, Talbot County I, Julia I. Thornton of said State & County, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all wills heretofore made by me. Item 1. I wish my just debts paid. Item 2. I wish to be buried by the side of my husband & a suitable monument erected over my grave. Item 3. I give & bequeath to my granddaughter Juliet Wilkerson and to the heirs of her body the storehouse lying & being north of the one bequeathed to William J. Thornton, and now occupied by Walter Freeman as a butcher shop. Also my farm consisting of one hundred & fifty five acres more or less. Also the town lot in front of the livery stable & lying north of the Willis store. Item 4. It is my will that should Juliet Wilkerson die without any children then all the property bequeathed to her shall revert to my son William J. Thornton. Item 5. I appoint William J. Thornton trustee of Juliet Wilkerson for the property herein bequeathed to her to hold the same in trust for her during her minority & if the trustee appointed refuses to serve then the court shall appoint but I do not desire H.F. Wilkerson to be appointed or have any management of said property. The said trustee shall use the rents & income of said property to educate Juliet. Item 6. I relieve my executor from making any appraisement of my estate or any return. Item 7. I hereby appoint my son William J. Thornton executor of this my last will & testament. Item 8. Should my daughter Martha A. Wilkerson caveat my will or make any effort in the courts to set it aside & break it then in that event I revoke the bequest to Juliet Wilkerson & will all of my property of every kind to my son W.J.
