BENJAMIN BECKWORTH was born about 1818 in GA, and
died Aft. 1882.  He married ELIZABETH ROGERS 19
Dec 1838 in Warren Co GA.  She was born Jul 1817
in GA, and died Aft. 1900.

Children of BENJAMIN BECKWORTH and ELIZABETH
ROGERS are:


i. DELILAH C.7 BECKWORTH, b. 12 May 1840, Warren
Co GA; d. 10 Jan 1929, Clyde (Callahan) TX.  She
married ALGERNON ALPHONSO JOHNSON 09 Dec 1865 in
Taliaferro Co GA, son of CHARLES JOHNSON and JANE
CHIVERS.  He was born 1837 in Murray Co GA, and
died 06 Nov 1906 in maybe OK.


ii. JAMES A. BECKWORTH, b. about 1842, GA; d. 02
Jul 1863, Gettysburg PA. [49th Regiment Co D)



iii. JOSEPHINE "SOPHIA" R. BECKWORTH, b. about
1845.  She married WILLIAM THOMAS HACKNEY, son of
JAMES HACKNEY and PATIENCE GUESS.  


iv. MARY LOUISE BECKWORTH, b. about 1846.  She
married JOHN L. TAYLOR 10 Mar 1868 in Taliaferro
Co GA by L. B. Taylor, JP, son of JAMES TAYLOR and
CENIA (UNKNOWN).  He was born 1832.


v. WILLIS BECKWORTH, b. Nov 1848, GA; d. 28 Dec
1927, Ficklin (Wilkes) GA, buried in Raytown
Cemetery near Sharon in Taliaferro Co GA (no
marker).  He married MARY SUSAN BROWN 01 Jan 1872
in Taliaferro Co GA, daughter of JOHN BROWN and
SARAH THORNTON.  She was born 22 May 1853 in
Wilkes Co GA, and died 30 Aug 1930 in Toombs Co
GA. buried Center Church, Toombs Co GA (no
marker).


vi. HEZEKIAH T. "HENRY" BECKWORTH, b. Jan 1851,
GA.  He married FRANCES VICTORIA ATCHISON 21 Dec
1879 in Warren Co GA.  She was born Apr 1857 in
GA.


vii. GEORGIA ANN BECKWORTH, b. about 1853; m.
SAMUEL PEEK, 06 Jan 1870, Taliaferro Co GA; b.
1843.
