Samuel Thompson, died ca. 1837 in Taliaferro Co.,
leaving wife Priscilla  (b. ca. 1790, NC, d. after
1870), and the following children.  Any  additional
information will be appreciated.  

1.  Susan Thompson, b. ca. 1805, d. before 1860.
Married Quinea  O'Neal, 19 Feb. 1826, Taliaferro Co.

2.  Rebecca Thompson, b. ca. 1810, d. after 1860.
Married Jesse  Evans (d. ca. 1850).


3.  Martha Thompson, b. ca. 1813, married Asbury
Ogletree, 21 Sept.  1837, Taliaferro Co.



4.  James M. Thompson, married Mary H. Lunceford, 3
Feb. 1834,  Taliaferro Co.

5.  Daniel Thompson, no info.

6.  Mary Thompson, married William M. Acree, 11 Nov.
1830, Taliaferro  Co.

(Will Record A, pp. 140-141)  Thompson, Samuel: non-
cupative will made 9/6/1837, probated 5/7/1838.  Wife: 
Priscilla.  Children: Daniel  and James Thompson.
Exec: wife.  Test: R. I Dickinson, E. H. Macon,
Charles Morris.  Note: Wm. M. Acree and Jesse Evans
caveated.   Jury, at January term, 1838, Superior
Court, composed of: Malachi Murden, James  Edge,
Charles Johnson, Thos. F. Harris, John W. Towns, Wm.
Fluker, Wm. Johnson,  Elijah Jordan, Zachariah Jordan,
Willie Allen, John S. Swain, and John W.  Harris.  Jury
found for the propounder, Mrs. Priscilla Thompson, and
fined  the Caveators costs, which were $21.68.
