Chapman Exr. of the last will & testament of Thomas Chapman my Father deceased that I don’t intend to give the bond required in his said Will for the fifteen hundred dollars left me under the condition in this will and hereby make known to him my refusal so to do – he is so far as I am concerned authorized to pay the said fifteen hundred dollars over to my daughter Elizabeth who is now married and has one child. This 31 day of Dec. 1859. /s/ Nathan Chapman Georgia Floyd County Received of William H. Chapman Executor of the last will & testament of Thomas Chapman decd the sum of fifteen hundred dollars and all interest due on it to date which was left in said will to Nathan Chapman my father for his life under certain conditions named in said will which condition he having refused to comply with said William H. Chapman Exor. as aforesaid has paid over the said sum of money to me as directed in said will I having married and having a child now living. Said sum of money being received under the conditions and limitations of said will.
