State News Items

The Crawfordville Democrat has been shown a sample of cloth that was made in 
the town of Crawfordville recently by Mrs. William Foster from lint cotton.  
The novelty of this cloth is that Mrs. Foster is 72 years of age and she 
carded, spun and wove a coverlet and a counterpane in the last few months.  
Mrs. Foster is the only woman in Taliaferro County who is using the old loom 
yet.
