William E. Beazley
   William Edmond Beazley, 87, died at his residence at 2350 Washington Rd. 
late Tuesday night.
   Mr. Beazley, a retired railroad worker, was the husband of Maud Olivia 
Jordan Beazley.  A native of Crawfordville, Ga., he had lived in Augusta 42 
years prior to his death.  
   Mr. Beazley was a member of the First Baptist Church of Augusta.
   Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth B. Brown, Swainsboro, Ga., 
and a son, Raymond Edward Beazley, Augusta; four grandchildren, four great-
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Platt’s Funeral Home.

William Edmond Beazley was born March 29, 1868, Taliaferro Co., GA, died July 
12, 1955, Augusta, GA, son of Charles Allen Beazley and Malinda Rhodes.  He was 
married Nov. 15, 1891, Taliaferro Co., to Maude Olivia Jordan, daughter of 
Corilla U. Jordan and Elizabeth Savannah Taylor.  He and his wife are both 
buried at Westover Cemetery, Augusta, GA.
