Mrs. Mary Ella Beazley

Crawfordville, Ga. – Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ella Cannon Beazley, 90, of 
Crawfordville, who died Monday in a Macon hospital, will be held in Carter’s 
Grove Baptist Church, Taliaferro County, Ga.
  
The Rev. James Waters will officiate.  Burial will be in the Church cemetery.

A native of Lincoln County, she had lived in Crawfordville most of her life.  
She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Clyde Lunsford, Crawfordville, Mrs. Lucy 
Poss and Mrs. W. G. Flint, both of Macon, Mrs. Maude Bunch, Abbeville, S. C., 
Mrs. Marion Combs, Milledgeville, Ga., and Mrs. Hugh Wallace, Atlanta; five 
sons, Guy Beazley, Carl Beazley, both of Crawfordville, Robert Beazley, 
Ashville, N.C., Tom Beazley, Jonesboro, Ga., and Billy Beazley, Augusta. 

The family will be at the home of Mrs. Lucy Poss.

Additional Comments:
Mary Ella Cannon was born January 1, 1879, probably in Columbia Co., GA where 
she is found with her parents, N.T. and Mary S. Cannon, in the 1880 census, and 
listed as age 1.  The family is later found in Lincoln Co., GA.  Mary Ella was 
wife of Claude Harris Beazley.
