T. COLCLOUGH DIES IN TALIAFERRO COUNTY Crawfordville, Ga., Dec. 23 – W. T. Colclough, age 79, one of the oldest residents of the county, died Sunday and was buried at Bethesda church Monday, the Rev. George C. Steed conducting the funeral services. Mr. Colclough, residing near Roberson [sic], was the oldest citizen of his district. He had resided in the same home for the past fifty years. He was a substantial farmer and highly regarded in the county. Besides Mrs. Colclough, he is survived by five daughters, Mrs. C. S. Harrison, of Crawfordville, Mrs. Hattie Pearl Harris, and Mrs. Mozelle Tuggle of Atlanta, Mrs. John Miller of Chicago, Mrs. Guy Evans of this county, and two sons, Jessie, of this county, and Wesley of Augusta. Additional Comments: William Thomas “Tom” Colclough was born December 10, 1857, Taliaferro Co., GA, died December 20, 1936, Taliaferro Co., son of William B. Colclough and Hester Overton. He was married to Mary “Mollie” West, born May 10, 1853, died June 4, 1939, Taliaferro Co. Both buried Bethesda Church Cemetery, Greene Co., GA.
