Billy Edwards Passes Away

William R. (Billy) Edwards, 57, of Thomson died Friday, July 27, 1984 at his 
home.

Graveside services were held at 3 P.M. on Sunday July 29 at the Crawfordville 
Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Walter Landers officiating.

Mr. Edwards was a native of Taliaferro and lived in McDuffie County for a 
number of years.  He was a veteran and a retired employee of Knox Rivers 
Construction Co.

He was the son of the late Roger Edwards and Minnie Blount Edwards of 
Crawfordville.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia Edwards of Thomson; a daughter, Jan Johnson 
of Augusta; a son, Danny Edwards of Warrenton; and one sister, Mrs. Nina 
Kendrick of Forsythe.
