FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MR. THOMAS FRANKLIN EDWARDS

	Mr. Thomas Franklin Edwards, 760 Center Hill School Road, Union Point, 
Ga. Died at his residence on July 29, 1996.
	Mr. Edwards was a retired dairyman and farmer. He was a lifelong 
resident and a member of Robinson Baptist Church in the Robinson Community. He 
was born in Taliaferro County, a son of the late Thomas H. and Tella Portwood 
Edwards.
	He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Mrs. Pearl Yearwood 
Edwards.	
	He is survived by his son, Charles T. Edwards, Union Point; two 
daughters, Alice E. Kimbrell, Grovetown and Beatrice E. Williams of Savannah; 
two brothers, Cobb Edwards of Crawfordville and Lawrence Edwards of Greensboro; 
a sister, Nancy E. Howard, Rincon; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 
2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
	Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 at Callaway 
Funeral Home Chapel in Union Point with Rev. Edward Guindon officiating.
	Interment will be in the Crawfordville Cemetery.
	Pallbearers will be Richard Dingler, J. W. Harrison, and grandsons.
	Callaway Funeral Home, Union Point, is in charge of arrangements.
