Mrs. Clyde Lunsford

Washington, Ga., -- Mrs. Clyde Beazley Lunsford, 74, died Saturday in a Union 
Point, Ga., hospital. 

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. today in Carter’s Grove Baptist Church with 
the Rev. Dan. Nicholson officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  

Mrs. Lunsford was a native of Taliaferro County and was a member of Phillip’s 
Mill Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, R. H. Lunsford, Covington, Ga., one daughter, Mrs. 
Ben S. Kelley, Wellsville, N.Y.; five sisters, Mrs. Lucy Poss and Mrs. Billy 
Flynt, Macon, Ga., Mrs. Maude Bunch, Abbeville, S.C., Mrs. Marion Combs, 
Milledgeville, Ga., and Mrs. Hugh Wallace, Decatur, Ga.; five brothers, Guy 
Beazley, Carter’s Grove, Ga., R. H. Beazley, Asheville, N.C., T. C. Beazley, 
Jonesboro, Ga., Carl H. Beazley, Washington, Ga., and Billy Beazley, Augusta. 
 
Pallbearers will be J. C. Mattison, Thad Broome, Hawes Lunsford, Kenneth Nunn, 
Bill Flynt and Bobby Beazley.

Friends may call at Hopkins Funeral Home, Washington, until 2 p.m. and then at 
the church.

Clyde Beazley was born December 10, 1901, Taliaferro Co., daughter of Claude 
Harris Beazley and Mary Ella Cannon.  She was first wife of William Raymond 
Lunsford, married January 23, 1921, Taliaferro Co., GA.
