Sharon, Georgia., June 1954.  Mrs. Stella Lavender,84, daughter of Thomas 
James Rhodes and Carolyn V. Flynt died at the Washington Georgia Hospital.  On 
December 13, 1892, she married C William Lavender a native of
Taliaferro County, who preceded her in death on May 02, 1940. Funeral services 
was conducted at the Sandy Cross Methodist Church and burial was in the church 
cemetery. The Rev. Louis Davis officated.  Of this union there
were five children who survive them.
