Augusta Chronicle, 1959
Union Point Georgia - Mrs Clara Cannon Lunceford, 77, of Crawfordville, died 
Tuesday, November 17, 1959 at the Minnie G. Boswell Hospital in Greene County 
after and extended illness.  

She married the late Overton Lunceford, son of  William Madison Lunceford and 
Mary H Griffith on December 23, 1897 in Taliaferro County.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Susie Norman Cannon of Wilkes 
County.  She was a member of Carters Grove Baptist Church. Funeral serves were 
conducted from the Carter Grove Baptist Church by R. L. Dukes, the Rev. Howard 
Killingsworth and the Rev. W. H. Evans.

Children of this marriage were; Kathleen, Mabel, Lucy, AM Lunceford, Hawes, W. 
A Lunceford, Rev Reed and Owen.
