Ogletree Crawfordville, Ga. - Mrs. Delapp Taylor Ogletree, 79, died Tuesday in a Greensboro, Ga hospital. Funeral services will be today at 3 p.m. in the Jennings Baptist Church, near Crawfordville, with the Revs. Floyd Jenkins and Everett Sawyer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She was a lifelong resident of Taliaferro County and a member of Jennings Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Joseph Eli Ogletree, Crawfordville; one daughter, Mrs. Oscar Stewart, Crawfordville; one brother, Ollie Taylor, Crawfordville; and one sister, Mrs. Barie T. Byce, Greenville, S.C. Pallbearers will include Lewis Patrick, Lennis Edwards, Luther Wright, T.C. Harrington, Henry G. Moore, and Paul Ellington. Friends may call at M. W. Callaway & Sons Memorial Chapel, Crawfordville, until one hour prior services. Additional Comments: Caroline Delapp Taylor was born December 13, 1893, died May 8, 1973, daughter of Joseph W. and Medora Taylor. She married October 11, 1914, Taliaferro Co., to Eli P. Ogletree. Eli Ogletree was born 17 October 1879 and Georgia death records give March 19, 1948, as his death date. He was son of Samuel T. Ogletree and his second wife, Margaret A. Underwood. Sources: 1.
