HICKORY, N.C. - Mr. W. Thomas Portwood Jr. of 13th Avenue Place N.W. entered 
into rest May 30, 2003. He was the son of the late Warren Thomas Portwood Sr. 
and Anna Josephine Saine. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2003, 
at Crawfordville City Cemetery with Rev. John Autry officiating. Survivors 
include Anna Kathryn Hendrix, High Point, Jettie Caroline Portwood, Atlanta; 
sister, Anna P. Hardegree, Dacula, Ga. Family will receive friends Thursday, 
June 5, 2003, after services at the Fellowship Hall. Callaway Funeral Home in
