W. FOSTER RHODES
Crawfordville. Ga  
  Funeral services for W. Foster Rhodes, 70, of Crawfordville, who died Friday, 
will be held today at 3 P.m. at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Dr. R. 
D. Ernest and the Rev. R. G. Barron officiating.  Burial will be in 
Crawfordville Cemetery.  

A Native of Taliaferro County, he was a member of First Presbyterian Church and 
a retired employee of Greensboro Lumber Co. 

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Estha M. Rhodes of Crawfordville; four 
daughters, Mrs. Dorsey Peppers of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. L. W. Eubanks of Forest 
Park, Ga, Mrs. B. T. Littlepage of Alexandria, Va., and Mrs. T. R. Furgerson of 
British Columbia, Canada; two sons W. C. Winstead and B. D. Winstead, both of 
Atlanta; a sister, Mrs. F. B. Taylor of Hawkinsville, Ga; and a brother, Marvin 
H. Rhodes of Crawfordville.  

Pallbearers will be H. F. Richards, George Williams, J. H. Hubert, Paul 
Ellington Jr., Frank Mitchell Jr., W. G. Taylor, Owen Lunceford and Roger 
Chapman.  

Friends may call at Callaway Funeral Home, Union Point, Ga., until an hour 
prior to services.

William Foster Rhodes was born October 29, 1900, died Friday, October 30, 1970, 
son of Frank Foster Rhodes and Addie H. Davis.  He was married twice:  (1) to 
Alberta Caldwell, March 31, 1920, Taliaferro Co., and (2) to Esther "Estha" 
(Maltbie) Winstead, December 24, 1938, Taliaferro Co.
