Mrs. William F. Rhodes
Crawfordville, Ga 

Mrs. William Foster (Estha) Maltbie Rhodes, 77, of Crawfordville died Sunday in 
a Greene County hospital.  

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with the 
Revs. Louis Stokes and Floyd Jenkins officiating.  Burial will be at the 
Crawfordville City Cemetery.  

Mrs. Rhodes was a Taliaferro County native and lived there most of her life.  
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.  

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. L. W. Eubanks, Forest Park, Ga., Mrs. 
B. T. Littlepage, Alexandria, Va., and Mrs. R. A. Rogers, Bridge [sic] 
Columbia, Canada, two sons, W. C. Winstead, Tucker, Ga. and B. D. Winstead, 
Lilburn, Ga., one sister, Mrs. Herman Smith, Albany, N.Y., and one brother, 
Robert Maltbie, Robinson, Ga.  

Friends may call at Callaway Funeral Home, Union Point, Ga. until 1 p.m. 
Tuesday and then at the church.

Esther (aka Estha) Maltbie Rhodes was born June 7, 1900, Taliaferro Co., died 
April 23, 1978, daughter of William N. Maltbie and Eleanor Richards.  She was 
married twice:  (1) to Mr. Winstead (first name unknown) and (2) to William 
Foster Rhodes, December 24, 1938, Taliaferro Co.
