Mr. Marvin Rhodes

CRAWFORDVILLE, GA. - Mr. Marvin Homer Rhodes, 90, of 356 Broad St., died 
Wednesday, June 19, 1996, at Athens Regional Medical Center.

   The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church, with the 
Rev. Reggie Hasslet and Dr. Jimmy Waters officiating. Burial will be in 
Crawfordville Cemetery.

   Mr. Rhodes, a native of Taliaferro County, was a planer superintendent for 
Greensboro Lumber Co. He was a member of Crawfordville Presbyterian Church.

   Survivors include his wife, Veazy Andrews Rhodes; a daughter, JoAnne Rhodes 
Wilhelm, Crawfordville; and a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

   Pallbearers will be K.W. Dye, Dillard Noggle, Bobby Moore, Jimmy Shelton, 
Carson Moncrief, Francis Risner, Charles Green, Mark Green, Owen (sic Owens) 
Lunceford, Sam Green, Charles Edwards, Horace William and Mitchell Moore.

   Callaway Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
