B. Taylor Crawfordville, Ga – Mrs. W. B. (Luella Phelps) Taylor, 84, died Monday night in an Atlanta nursing home. Graveside services will be held at w p.m. today in Crawfordville (Ga.) cemetery with the Rev. Floyd Jenkins officiating. Mrs. Taylor was a native of Taliaferro County and had lived in Atlanta for the past 3 and a half years. She was a member of Rock Spring Presbyterian Church, Atlanta. Survivors include one son, Wilber B. Taylor, Doraville, Ga; two daughters, Miss Christine Taylor, Atlanta, and Mrs. Edna T. Dodd, Chamblee, Ga; one sister Mrs. Gertrude Tuggle, Union Point, Ga. Pallbearers will be Frank Mitchell III, Richard Fowler, Owen Lunceford, Mitch Bond, Randolph Barksdale and Wales Barksdale. Friends may call at M. W. Callaway & Sons Funeral Home, Crawfordville. Additional Comments: Luella Phelps was born September 19, 1891, died Dec. 25, 1975, and is buried at Crawfordvile Cemetery. She was daughter of James A. Phelps and Georgia A. Moore. (Note: Luella’s mother, Georgia A. Moore, was the widow of John H. Mitchell when she married James A. Phelps.)
