DENARD-EDWARDS

Of much interest to their many friends in this section was the marrriage of 
Miss Mattie B. Denard of this county to Mr. Eugene Edwards of Taliaferro 
county, which was solemnized on December the 23rd, in Union Point.

Mrs. Edwards is the attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Denard. Since her 
graduation from the State Teachers College in 1928, she has been a member of 
the faculty of the Tallulah Falls School, where, as in her home county, her 
charming personality endeared her to numberless friends, who wish her great 
happiness.

Mr. Edwards is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Edwards of Taliaferro county. he 
is a progressive farmer of that county and is most popular.

Mr. and Ms. Edwards are at home to their friends in the Sandy Cross communtiy 
near Crawfordville, GA.

Mattie B. DENARD - born 15 Nov 1901 to Henry Mitchell & Lucy Jane ALEXANDER 
DENARD.
Died 10 Dec 1976 - she was buried at Reshaven Cemetery.

Eugene Lucious EDWARDS was born 28 April 1903 to Lucien Sanders & Mary Alice 
PORTWOOD EDWARDS. Eugene died 11 Dec 1982 and is buried with Mattie at 
Resthaven Cemetery
