Chapman Transcribed by William L. Stephenson, Jr. January 2002 Taliaferro County, Georgia Widow of John Chapman In the name of God, Amen. I, Rachel B. Chapman, being of sound mind and disposing memory, thinking it proper to make the following disposition of my property, which a kind providence has endowed me, do make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all others which have been made by me. Item 1. I give and bequeath to each of my children, Missouri A. Chapman (this was the daughter Missouri A. Morris by her first husband, Thomas L. Morris, and who married Samuel W. Chapman), John T. Chapman, and Rachel Ann Judson Chapman one bed and furniture. Item 2. I will that my Negro girl, Sarah, be appraised and my daughter Rachel Ann Judson Chapman have her at the appraised valuation. Item 3. I will that my Negro boy, Burrell, be appraised and allowed to select a master. Item 4. It is my desire that all the goods and chattels not above mentioned of which I may die possessed be equally divided among my children Missouri A. Chapman, John T. Chapman, and Rachel Ann Judson Chapman, and I hereby appoint Samuel W. Chapman, Samuel N. Chapman, and John T. Chapman my Executors.
